These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of the PurescanTips mobile application and related services (“App”), operated by Tummi Studio (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What the App does

The App lets you submit a photo of a skincare, cosmetic, or packaged-food label for analysis. You can select a category and an available profile option. The App displays the response received from its analysis service, which may include recognized label text, a summary, ingredient notes, and alternative suggestions.

2. Informational use only

Analysis depends on image quality, label legibility, available information, and automated processing. The App may omit, misread, or incorrectly classify ingredients, percentages, warnings, or other label content. A score, verdict, or alternative is not a scientific certification or individualized health assessment.

• Always inspect the original packaging and its current ingredient and allergen statements.
• For allergy, sensitivity, dietary, or other medical concerns, contact the manufacturer or a qualified professional.
• Do not rely on the App in an emergency or to make a diagnosis, treatment, or medication decision.

3. Your responsibilities

You must have the right to submit any photo or content you scan. Do not submit another person’s personal information, medical records, or content you are not authorized to share. Do not misuse the App, interfere with its operation, attempt to bypass credit limits or security controls, or use it in a way that violates applicable law.

4. Credits and advertisements

Analysis may require a credit; the amount is shown in the App before you submit a scan. Credit balances, rewarded-ad quotas, and reward confirmation are managed by the service. Rewarded ads are optional and may be unavailable or limited. Credits are not cash, are not transferable, and have no cash value. The current App does not offer in-app purchases. We may change credit limits or ad availability as the service evolves, subject to applicable law.

5. Local history and sharing

Completed reports can be saved locally on your device and shared as an image through your device’s share options. You are responsible for choosing where you share a report. Anyone who receives a shared image may retain or redistribute it. Resetting local data removes local history and preferences but does not erase server-side credit or verification records.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how scan photos, profile choices, a pseudonymous device identifier, local history, and advertising data are processed. Read it before submitting a scan.

7. Intellectual property and license

The App, its design, branding, and software are owned by Tummi Studio or its licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for lawful, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and the End User License Agreement.

8. Third-party services

The App relies on third-party infrastructure, including cloud API hosting and Google Mobile Ads. Third-party services may have separate terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for services outside our control, but we will take reasonable steps to maintain the App’s integrations.

9. Availability and changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain or improve the App, meet legal requirements, or respond to security issues. We do not promise uninterrupted access, continuous ad availability, or that every label can be analyzed.

10. Disclaimer and limitation

To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that its automated analysis will be accurate, complete, or appropriate for a particular person or product. To the extent permitted by law, Tummi Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from reliance on an App result. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Suspension or termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may restrict access if we reasonably believe there is fraud, abuse, a security threat, or a material violation of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should continue will survive termination.

12. Governing law and changes

These Terms are subject to the laws applicable to Tummi Studio, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights in your place of residence. We may revise these Terms by updating this page and its effective date. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms, where permitted by law.
